Welcome To On The Avenue Home Decor & Gifts. Years ago my husband and I bought our first home. It was a very old home and needed a lot of tender love and care. I had the vision of what I wanted and my husband was able to help me bring it to life. As we began building and creating items for our home, we had another idea..... What if we started our own business and offered our creations to others who share the same love and passion for decorating as we do. Here we are, 17 years later, sharing our creations and designs with friends everywhere.

Yummy Banana Bread!
My mom always made Banana Bread for us to eat on Christmas Morning. With seven little kids, it was probably an easy breakfast to feed us as we were opening presents. Christmas morning as a child was so magical. My mom and dad did a fantastic job at creating a "Magical Christmas Morning". With seven kids, you can only imagine all the fun toys that were around. It was Awesome!!

So I thought I would share...
Banana Bread
Wendy Pearce (Thanks Mom)
Cream Together:
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Margarine (Or butter)

Add:
2 Beaten Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Cup Mashed Bananas

Add:
2 Cups Flour
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Baking Soda

Pour batter into greased bread pan. I have found this recipe makes one loaf of bread. I usually triple or quadruple this recipe. It is a fun gift for friends & neighbors (especially right out of the oven). Bake 1 hour at 350 Degrees.
We also love to toast it in the toaster and add a little butter! YUMMY!
