Yesterday our family lost an angel. Our sweet brother and uncle Kenny, lost his fight with Melanoma cancer and went home to his loving Father in Heaven and Savior, Jesus Christ. We know heaven cheered when the gates were opened and they saw him coming. His sweet body is now healed and perfect and he is in a wonderful state of paradise and rest!
Kenny- We know you are up there playing basketball and fishing on the banks of some beautiful waters. Mel loves you more than anything! You are her best friend and closest confidant. We will take take care of her and Taya for you until we are all reunited in Heaven again!
We love you Kenny!
(Tori Maddock - My Other Sweet Sister posted this on facebook today.
I couldn't have said it any better!)
There will be a viewing at Webb Funeral Home(1005 S. 800 E.) Friday, August 10th in Preston, ID from 6-8pm and on Saturday, August 11th from 10-11:30am at the Weston LDS church building.
The funeral will also be held at the Weston LDS 2nd Ward chapel at 12:00pm on Saturday.
Thank you for all the many kind words and deeds that our family has received over the last little while! It means more to us than you will ever know.
To our Sweet Brother & Uncle Kenny - We Love You So Much!! We will miss you more than you can imagine, but we know you are close!! Our testimonies of the Gospel Of Jesus Christ will carry everyone though. Melanie Loves you more than you can imagine. You ARE her best friend and imagining a life without you seems impossible, but we promise we will take care of her and Taya until you are together again. Continue the work of the Lord on the other side and we will do our best here. We know, with no question, that we will be together again. Because of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we will be together again.
We love you!!!
Alma 40:11-12
"Now, concerning the state of the soul between death and the resurrection - Behold, it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who game them life. ~ And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow."
