Welcome To On The Avenue Home Decor & Gifts. Years ago my husband and I bought our first home. It was a very old home and needed a lot of tender love and care. I had the vision of what I wanted and my husband was able to help me bring it to life. As we began building and creating items for our home, we had another idea..... What if we started our own business and offered our creations to others who share the same love and passion for decorating as we do. Here we are, 17 years later, sharing our creations and designs with friends everywhere.

Good Morning Friends!!!
The last two days were just simply to busy to get to our blog!!!  Yesterday was AWESOME!!!!!  We were able to Welcome Home this wonderful World Ward II Vet (& Grandpa).  There were a couple hundred people there welcoming home their vets and it was awesome.  American flags were waving, excitement was in the air, tears were shed and hugs and kisses were exchanged as each family member stepped off the bus!!!  How much more American can it get?  We didn't stay long, but were able to stay for pictures, more hugs and a small family reunion for us.  I can't wait to sit and visit with my mom and hear all about the awesome experiences she had there with Grandpa, Uncle Danny and Clancy of course!!  After all, she is family now!!

It was so fun meeting her for the first time and she has the most amazing family that was there to welcome her home.  

Mom, Grandma and all the Great-Grandkids that were there to Welcome Grandpa Abbott Home.  
The news even interviewed our little ones and they were so brave!!  We don't have Cable in our home, so unfortunately we missed the part with Chloee, but I heard she was on there.

Again, THANK YOU to everyone who helped us with our Fund-raiser.  We are so grateful that our Grandpa, Mom and Uncle (and Clancy) were able to be reminded of how grateful we are for their service so many years ago!
