Fun Garden Decor

I love adding fun items into my flower gardens, but like to keep it very simple!
Here are a few ideas I have in my flower garden.

Each item is made from cedar. I have had these in my flower garden for several years. I leave them out all year long which allows the elements to leave that rustic, worn look.As you can tell this bench is behind the flowers. I love to put potted flower arrangements on this bench for dimension in my flower garden.

Porch Idea

Take A Look.....

I had this bench in my Laundry Room and decided to add another dimension to my front porch. A neighbor gave me this old door (which I LOVE) and I hung a twig wreath with fabric on the front of the door. Like I have mentioned, we have an older home with a HUGE front porch. They say the outside of our home is an extension of our living space. So I took a couple things I already had in my house, added a rustic American flag for the holiday and made a cute arrangement on my porch. When I decorate, I usually use a lot of what I already have in my home. Just move things around and add one or two things that are new!!

Good Morning To You All!

My intentions to keep daily posting for last week were good! However, the sunshine and my cute little kiddo's swimming in the beautiful aqua blue swimming pool called my name way too many times!! Eric had a training in Southern Utah for the week and we got to tag along with him. From what we understand, the weather here at home was wet, cold and miserable. We were very blessed to enjoy such beautiful weather. It didn't rain in Southern Utah until Saturday morning when we got up and packed to come home!

When we make a new item, we usually make ten or fifteen of that item at a time. It is a little quicker for us to make several at a time and it also allows me to make new items more often.

I have added berries that are a deep burgandy and mustard color. They also have a couple rustic tin stars. The shutter has a fabric handle at the top for hanging.
