We took a trip south yesterday and filled up our Midvale and Ogden Quilted Bear Booths. In Ogden we have many fall items at 50% off. Regardless of our different circumstances, we all have so much to be grateful for.

I wanted to post our DARLING sleigh. I have wrapped a Christmas garland around it and put a snowman inside. We had some really big sleighs in the store last year and everyone loved them. The measurements on this are 19" Tall X 21" Long. It would be darling by a tree with presents in it! Retail: $47.00

Spicy Cinnamon Cake

I got this recipe from Paula Deen's Cooking Show!!

It Is DIVINE!!! I made it this morning for a late breakfast and my family loved it. Here is the Recipe.....

Add Together:

4 Eggs

1 pk Spice Cake Mix

1 Small Pkg of Vanilla Pudding

1 Cup Sour Cream

Butter Bunt Pan really well

Pour 1/2 batter into the pan

Sprinkle a cinnamon/sugar mixture over the top

add almonds over the cinnamon & sugar

Pour the rest of the batter in the pan.

Sprinkle Cinnamon/Sugar Mixture and the almonds on the top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

I put vanilla frosting on the top right after it came out of the oven.

Slice & Eat!!!!

I want everyone to really think about this. I am so thankful for the simple things in life. This morning we had our fire place lit, fresh bread baking, laundry washing in the washer, happy kids and so much more. I think it is very easy to get caught up in the things we dont have, instead of focusing on what we do have. This is a picture of our Wreath Frame.

It is 24"X 24" with the beadboard behind the frame. There is a knob at the top for hanging wreaths. I have added a Chritsmas ribbon on this everyday wreath and added a word cut out I have. I attached it by bending the berries around the letters of BELIEVE. This is a very simple idea that has turned an every day decor item into a Christmas item. We sell the wreath frames for $26.00. This is one of my favorite items we have designed. They come in all different colors.

I thought I would share some fun decorating ideas. I started my Christmas decorating a couple days ago. I know many of you are thinking.... before Thanksgiving? Yes, I always start early. This is the busiest time of year for us and if I don't do it now..... who knows when I will do it. I have to admit, four weeks of Christmas just isn't enough for me.

The above picture is a very easy & fun decorating idea. I have a black lamp that is in my living room. I lifted it up and placed a pine garland wreath around it. I added berries, raffia, pinecones, twig balls, a pillow, ribbon and a Believe sign. It took me a few minutes to throw together and I love it. I have also placed one of my fabric Christmas runners under the wreath.

This is Very Simple and Easy!! Give it a try!
